Mirador Returns

Judging by the amount of people I saw up at Mirrador de Cerro Gordo in La Herradura, there a great many who have been waiting with baited breath for Alix and Kevin to return from their holidays.
They are not being disappointed either as Kevin has come up with a completely new menu for this year, which, having read through thoroughly, does not disappoint!

Restaurant Reina Sofía

Well with Valentine’s Day approaching and no mention of a romantic meal out from my husband, I was delighted to accept a very generous gift from a friend, for my husband and me to sample the wonderful delights at the Restaurant Reina Sofia.
The restaurant, which is easy to find, heading towards Velilla on the Paseo de Reina Sofía, is tastefully decorated and boasts a warm and friendly atmosphere.
La Tartana
by David Darby •
Well this month I had the pleasure of meeting Penny, one of the owners of La Tartana, who gave me a brief overview of the history of the attractive hotel, bar and restaurant. Clearly the place has had an interesting past!
Chiringuito La Bahía
by David Darby •
(MO) Situated across from the picturesque El Peñon (the rocky point which divides the two beaches in Salobreña), you will find Chringuito La Bahia. Here you can feast on a spectacular menu while enjoying the breathtaking view of the sea and beaches. La Bahia has an amazing assortment of fresh fish to choose from daily – look for the day catch displayed, chilling on ice, in the quaint little boat inside the restaurant.
