The Motril Councillor for Culture, Miguel Ángel Muñoz Pino, announced a date for your diary for this Sunday: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's, Requiem.

The concert will take place in the Iglesia Mayor de la Encarnación, (next to the town-hall building) starting at 21.00h, following the 20.00h evening Mass.

It is recommended that you arrive early because admission is free and the venue will fill up rapidly.

There will be between 80 and 90 musicians and vocalists performing, comprising the Odysée Symphony Orchestra and the Coro Ciudad de Granada: soloists Silvia Vázquez (soprano), Leticia Rodríguez (mezzosoprano), Miguel Ángel Muñoz Pino (tenor), and Antonio Torres (bass).

The Councilor pointed out that this event is “a top-tier cultural event,” making it a privilege for Motril to host such a “transcendental work in a historic setting.”
