Wanted & Arrested

During the last quarter of 2025, the Guardia Civil arrested 143 people in the province of Granada who were subject to an Arrest Warrants, either national or international.

The arrests were carried out in 54 municipalities that include Albuñol, Almuñécar (4) Salobreña (3) Motril (2) Molvízar, and Gualchos (2) on the Costa Tropical

In the Valle de Lecrín arrests for wanted individuals included the towns of Dúrcal (2) and Padul (2), while in in the Alpujarra arrests were made in Cádiar, Capileira, Lanjarón, Órgiva (3) Polopos and Villamena

Towns in other areas of the province include, Albolote, Alfacar (2) Alhendín (3) Armilla (6) Atarfe (8) Benalúa, Caniles, Cenes de la Vega (3), Churriana de la Vega, Cogollos de la Vega (2) Cortes de Baza, Cortes y Graena (2) Cúllar, Cúllar Vega, Dehesas Viejas, Fuente Vaqueros, Gor, Guadahortuna, Guadix (2) Huétor Tájar, Huétor Vega, Íllora, Las Gabias (3), Loja (4), Maracena (15), Molvízar, Monachil (2), Montefrío, Ogíjares, Peligros, Pinos Puente, Puebla de Don Fadrique, Pulianas (3), Rubite, Santa Fe (7), Ugíjar, Villa de Otura and Zafaralla.

Many of the arrests were the result officers carrying out routine identity & vehicle verification checkpoints on public roads. Others were arrested after hard investigative work to locate them and, finally, place them at the disposal of the judicial authority.
