A man in his mid-40s died after falling whilst trying to descend on a knotted-sheet 'rope' from a second-storey window.
The victim, who suffered from mental issues, decided to exit in this manner on Tuesday morning in Castell de Ferro. His family members were not at home at the time.

The Emergency Coordination Centre, 112, received a call at 07.50h that morning explaining what had happened near Calle Manuel Altolaguirre. Neighbours had found his body lying on the pavement in a puddle of his blood and despite their attempts to bring him round, the man was not responding.
The fact was that the 45-year-old man didn’t have a pulse. The first to arrive were officers from the Guardia Civil and the Policía Local, who activated the appropriate protocol for somebody having suffered a fall.
The body was then taken to the Instituto Anatómico Forense for an autopsy.
