Wednesday the 13th, late in the evening, there were two accidents involving electric scooters within barely half an hour in the city of Málaga.

The emergency coordination centre, 112, received the first call a couple of minutes before 20.00h to say that there had been a collision between a car and an electric scooter on Avenida Arroyo de Los Ángeles where it meets the Paseo de Martiricos.

The young, male rider was injured and an ambulance was sent, together with the Policía Nacional and Policía Local. The 19-year-old was taken to Hospital Regional Universitario in Málaga.

The second accident was called in around 20.30h saying that a woman on an electric scooter had been run over on a roundabout along Calle Curtidores. The 61-year-old rider was taken to the Hospital Universitario Virgen de La Victoria.
