Horizontal Workers & Forged Notes

A man, who was  being hotly pursued by two prostitutes because he had paid them in forged, US bank notes, was arrested.

This occurred in Madrid on the 31st of March with the man fleeing along the Paseo de Las Delicias with the ladies intent upon catching him and placing his Mickey-Mouse banknotes where the sun doesn’t shine.

It all started after three Peruvian men went to a flat where the women were employed and requested the services of three women. One of the men, 33-year-old Daniel, paid up front (as is the custom) for all three of them, producing 700 US dollars (seemingly) in 100-dollar notes.

The horizontal arrangement was rapidly concluded and the three men left. However, five days later two of the men strayed too close to the building and were recognised by the dismayed prostitutes who had discovered that the notes were not worth the paper that they were printed on.

Several women began shouting at them from the window, putting into doubt the honour of their mothers and sexual inclinations of their fathers… as is the custom. Not content with this barrage of barbed vocabulary, they ran out onto the street and gave chase.

A Policía Local patrol, who just happened to be in the vecinity (that’s their excuse and they are sticking to it) witnessed the spontaneous, 100-metre steeple chase. So, they also gave chase and managed to grab hold of Daniel ‘The Ink Stained’ and arrested him. Fortunately, the police reached him before the women did, who had also been joined by their pimp in their endeavour.

The second man, 25-year-old David, didn’t have much luck either, as a passerby stopped and tackled him a couple of blocks away.

The three women, two of whom were Peruvians themselves (both aged 25) and one from Dominique (37) explained why they were keen to get hold of the two men to the officers. They handed the forged notes over and police forensic experts in forgery confirmed that the notes were about as much good as a radio for the deaf.

Daniel, i.e., the one who actually dealt with the money, was arrested and charged with currency forgery, which was preferable to spending more time with the dollar-bereft women.
