An unusual arrest was carried out by the Policia Nacional in the national monument of Alhambra on Wednesday night.
Officers arrested a 38-year-old Czech citizen accused of damaging the wire fence around the Alhambra. monument to gain entrance when the Alhambra was closed to visitors .

Furthermore, he is accused of resisting arrest and of having a .177 air pistol, found among his belongings.
And it’s not the first time that he has been arrested as the Policia Nacional have arrested him on three previous occasions.
Around midnight, the police received a call from Alhambra security guards, reporting that they had detained a man after he had broken into a restricted area.
Upon the arrival of the police patrol, they encountered the man who responded aggressively to their questions, insulting and threatening them. He refused to show any ID, and according to the officers, attacked them.
The security guards had come across him riding through the complex on an electric scooter and stopped him. Upon searching his backpack they found the air pistol. Another guard had found a 1-metre hole in the perimeter fence through which he had forced an entrance into the grounds.
Lastly, it came out that on previous arrests he had been using the compressed-air weapon and had been forbidden by the court from possessing one.
