The Eco Mercado will be held today in its usual location, the Plaza de La Rosa, which is next to the municipal market.

Each month more shoppers and traders are attracted to this event, where fresh vegetables and market-garden produce are on sale.

As the name of this monthly street market suggests, the vegetables are organically produced without the use of pesticides, etc. You can also find locally produced wines and artisanal goodies, as well.

The market runs from 09.00h this morning until 14.00h.

A speciality this month there will be a workshop for custom jewellery put on by Eloïse Bortolotti which begins at noon (12.00h) lasting two hours. Attendance numbers are limited.

The Eco Mercado is organised by the Granada Regenerativa association with the support of the Cal y Caña association and the Town Hall.
