Almuñécar's Hiking Agenda begins this Sunday the 9th with a walk along the old Sierra de Nevada (narrow-guage) railway line.

It’s a circular route (starting and concluding in Güéjar Sierra) and will take around five hours, taking in The Camino de Haza Llana, the Fabriquilla Bridge, railway tunnels, The Chorrera, the Río Maitena , Río Genil River, the Arroyo de San Juan hanging bridge and the beginning of the Vereda de la Estrella. Footpath.

This year’s hiking agenda contains twelve routes with the above being the first one.

Those that would like to participate should put their names down at the Municipal Sports Stadium by tomorrow afternoon latest. The office is open from 09.00h to 14.00h and then from 17.00h to 22.00h.
