Two pedestrians lost their lives on Sunday in a road accident within the municipality of Molvízar.

The accident occurred Sunday evening just before 20.00h, which was when the Emergency Coordination Centre, 112 received an alert to say that a car had hit two pedestrians on the GR-5300 near kilometre point 13.

The GR-5300 Joins the N-323 to the Otivar road just north of Jete.

The coordination centre despatched a Guardia Civil, traffic-police unit and an ambulance, as well as the Almuñécar fire service because the victims were trapped under the car.

First reports (yet to be confirmed) say that the two people were laying naked on the road… Both of them died at the scene.
