You’ve done some great stories on illegal waste dumps and we want to tell you about a protest we are making in Canillas de Aceituno.

A project for a huge landfill and waste recycling centre has been submitted with the Junta which will fill our beautiful valleys and cause untold environmental damage.

When residents discovered the plan we united quickly against this and have around 1,000 signatures to submit with our objection.

They already built massive roads throughout the campo around the area planned for the site with no planning permission and no permission for the project.
