A murder at a party in a luxury dwelling in Estepona ended up in the arrest in the United Arab Emirates of a British man.
The party took place in a luxury chalet on Calle Hortensia on the 12th of August. Around 08.45h a 36-year-old Serbian man received a gunshot to the back which resulted in his death. This was back in August and the Policía Nacional immediately opened an investigation into the homicide.

Their investigation led them to the UAE where the 43-year-old, British suspect was lying low, so armed with an international arrest warrant they cornered him there just a couple of days ago. Since the arrest, he is being held in police cells in the UAE, pending his extradition to Spain.
The people attending the party were approached outside a discotheque in Marbella with an offer to carry on the ‘fun’ in a private chalet in Estepona. The person who had organised the fiesta was a Cuban, who has since been expelled from Spain for a period of five years.
The victim of the shooting had a false Belgian ID, and was on the run from his country (Serbia) in relation to organised crime in the Balkans.
