The Asociación Organización de Productores Pesqueros de Motril (OPP85) announced that another Feria del Mar de Motril will take place on the 7th of November.

The previous one was a great success amongst the local population in general and those interested in the sea, in particular, thanks to its ample array of activities aimed at highlighting the fishing sector and marine environmental ecology.

La OPP85, designed the fair around being aware of the importance of preserving the natural resources of the sea.

For this reason the chats will cover responsible fishing and the protection of the marine environment, as well as being able to trace the origin of products.

The 17th will have activities for all ages, including educational workshops, fishing exhibitions, the sampling of locally caught produce and culinary advice on how to cook it, from well known chefs in the area.

There will also be kiddies’ games as well as live music, so it is definitely a day out for all the family.
