Wednesday saw a second beach-related death, merely hours after the death of a diver in Calahonda, but this time further east along the Costa Tropical, in La Rábita.
The emergency services received an alert a little before 18.45h after a woman was found, unresponsive, floating in the water.

Bathers in the water near La Rambla saw that something was wrong with the 60-year-old woman and pulled her from the water.
The judicial branch of the Guardia Civil certified her death although until an autopsy is performed the cause of death cannot be established.
