La Herradura will be celebrating its village fiestas, San José, from the 15th to the 19th of this month.
The Mayor,Juan José Ruiz Joya and his deputy (First Councillor for La Herradura) Daniel Barbero, presented the agenda for the event, with will have national-level singer, Chenoa, and national-radio host, Oscar Martínez, de Los 40 Principales (Top 40), as well as knees-up band, Orquesta Tentación, supplying popular music.
The official caseta (municipal bar) will be located in the Castle gardens. There will even be a caseta for senior citizens in the Centro Cívico where their activities and concerts will be held.
Mayor Ruiz Joya says that La Herradura’s fiestas (which is also Father’s Day in Spain) is becoming more and more popular with people from surrounding towns, which he considers will boost the local economy .
