A crowd gathered as this is right in the centre of the city, near Hipercor, close to Cafetería Puerta Bernina, on the corner with Calle Cañaveral.

The victim’s car was stationary behind the crane and as it was swinging this load up building in construction a strong gust of wind upset the load causing it to fall. The stress on the crane arm left it buckled.
