The Avant Granada-Sevilla service begins on the 25th of this month, with a train leaving Sevilla at 12.08h and one leaving Granada at 20.02h. In other words, if you want to go from Granada to Sevilla and catch the next available high-speed train back, you have to wait until the next day, whereas if you’re travelling to Sevilla from Granada, you leave just noon and can spend most of the afternoon, before catch the evening train back.

The eight Avant trains running between Granada and Sevilla and the six between Granada and Málaga will have to make a stop at the new train station in Antequera. For this reason these services will have slight train timetable adjustments from the 25th of January, which is when the new station is inaugurated. The stop in Antequera barely lasts between three and five minutes.
