Over a hundred volunteers joined the Grupo de Emergencias de Andalucía, la Guardia Civil and Protección Civil in search of a missing person.
The missing person is a 39-year-old man from Bérchules in the Alpujarra Granadina who was reported as missing on Saturday afternoon.
By Sunday morning a Guardia Civil helicopter, tracker dogs and fire-department personnel had joined the search parties.
The Mayor of Bérchules, Ismael Padilla, explained that starting yesterday the search radius was increased, thanks to the inclusion of the helicopter. The search parties also received the help of personnel from Infoca.
The man is described as being 1.75m in height and grey hair. He also has suffered some mental issues.
Updated: the man was found in good health just after 11.00h this morning. According to the Town Hall, he was found about 500 metres from the village itself.
