Some people live their cars badly parked, but they are amateurs compared with this next hero, who deserved an Olympic Gold in Bad Parking.
We all know that if you have left your car badly parked – perish the thought – then there is a risk that the Policía Local will call in a tow truck to pick up your car and take it across town to the municipal vehicle compound, where you will have to pay a fine and tow-truck charges to retrieve it.
Well, this man in Granada decided to save them the trouble of calling in a grua to load his car and transport to the municipal vehicle compound because he parked it across the entrance to the compound. Perhaps he was thinking of saving the extra expense of the town service?
The problem was that if a car is parked across the entrance, they can’t get the tow truck out to bring it in, so workers at the municipal vehicle compound probably had to manhandle the car in order to at least get it away from the entrance so that they could get the town truck out and deal with it.
He was fined 200 euros… and probably received a standing ovation from those gathered to watch.
