We often put out alerts issued by health authorities, many of which concern undeclared content that is harmful to some, but this one concerns everybody.
The Lidl supermarket chain has ordered a product on its shelves to be withdrawn and call on clients to return them or destroy them but above all not to consume them.
The product is fried almonds coated in honey, belonging to the brand Alesto which come in 150 gr bags. Alesto belongs to Borges Agricultural & Industrial Nuts SA.
The reason why, is that they have found that some packets examined contain metal particles that could cause lesions in a person’s digestive system if swallowed.
If a customer has bought a packet, then he or she can return them to any Lidl’s branch and their money will be refunded, even if you have no purchase ticket.
Lidl pointed out that no other Alesto product is affected, as this company offers a wide choice of nuts.
