The Asociación de Comercio Sexitano (ACOS) in Almuñécar has launched a new campaign to put a bit of oomph into the sector with a raffle and an interesting prize!

The campaign is entitled Comeriopoly and will run for two months; the 19th of August to the 19th of October, so there is still plenty of time. Sixty-nine shops are participating in the idea and their customers will have the chance to enjoy a cruise trip worth 1,000 euros. There are many other prizes, as well, by the way.

The presentation of the campaign took place in the shop called Sal y Pimienta on Calle Larache – that’s the street running alongside the Friday-Market Square. Representatives from ACOS were present (Remedios Rico and Grace Marlen Álvarez) together with the Councillor for Commerce, Rafael Caballero, as well as, of course, the owner of the shop, Yolanda Blasco.

Remedios Rico explained, “customers who make a minimum purchase will receive a stamp that they can put on a board (a type of Monopoly based on Almuñécar). The customer who collects ten stamps (with the corresponding purchase ticket) will be entered into the raffle for a Mediterranean cruise trip for two.

One certain way of winning a prize is if you are one of the three people chosen with 25 stamps. It’s a bit more complicated than that, but hey, you aren’t going to make 25 separate purchases are you. The draw is on the 22nd of October.
