The V Festival Noches del Castillo de La Herradura will run from tonight until Sunday night using the castle gardens.
There will be six performances, including the group from Sevilla, Siempre así, which will be celebrating its 30th anniversay since its formation. They will perform on Friday the 19th.
Back to tonight’s peformance, Leonard Becker, (Deggendorf,1999), won the Second Prize in the latest Certamen de Guitarra Andrés Segovia, which is held in La Herradura every year.
Wednesday will see a performance by Los Sabineros, which is a musical-comedy show in homage to Joaquín Sabina put on by Flaco Rodríguez and Mario Ojeda. If you are a fan of Sabina, then you will enjoy this.
The quartet, Las Migas (Carolina Fernández (Vocals), Marta Robles (Guitar), Alicia Grillo (Guitar) and Roser Loscos (Violin),in the evening of Thursday of the 18th at 22.00h.
On Saturday the 20th there will be a concert by IDEM who will offer a Tributo a Manolo García (Última de La Fila – a great Spanish 80s band).
The final night of the festival, Sunday the 21st will be the dance band, Charanda who will play boleros (you probably know a couple of boleros, such as Si Tú Me Dices Ven, Reloj No Marque Las Horas and of course, Perfidia – Mujer si Puedes tú con Dios Hablar).
All concerts start at 22.00h and tickets can be bought via internet (www.consiguetuentrada.com) or in the two newsagents in La Herradura (Coral and Páramo) as well as at the door.
