The Almuñécar municipal bus company has laid on night-service during the week of the summer fair called the Servicio Especial de Feria.
The idea is to provide a public-transport service so that people living in Herradura, Velilla and Torrecuevas, as well as those on the normal day routes connecting Los Marinos, for example, can enjoy the fair without having to take a car… and try to find parking – mission impossible at the best of times.
This is one of the extras that Grupo Fajardo has provided since it renewed its contract with the Town Hall for the Transporte Urbano de Almuñécar y La Herradura.
The following schedule does not alter existing day-time services but is in addition to them during the period of the Fiestas de Agosto. The bus departs from Almuñécar’s Plaza de La Carrera:
22:30h – Torrecuevas
23:00h – La Herradura
23:30h – Circular
00:00h – Circular
00:30h – Torrecuevas
01:00h – La Herradura
01:30h – Velilla
02:00h – Circular
02:30h – Velilla
03:00h – Circular
03:30h – Velilla
Editorial note: It doesn’t appear to include what time it leaves the Plaza de La Carrera to begin its night route, but judging by the half-hour elapses, it would be 22.00h.
