You will no doubt have heard that the Bonny Tyler concert planned for last night in Salobreña was cancelled at the last moment, which left many disappointed.
Around 1,500 people were in place and waiting for the concert to begin when a representative for the event organisers came on stage to say that Bonny Tyler had been feeling off all day and the concert was called.
Bonny Tyer’s symptoms, the representative explained, were similar to Covid, although she had not received a positive reading for an earlier PCR.
Just as disappointed were the backing band, Salvando a María (SAM) who had travelled down from Castellón for the gig. Heading back without playing at all was too much to bear and a solution was found…
Salvando a María will be playing at Robert’s Top in Almuñécar this evening with free admission. The concert will begin at 22.30h, so make sure that you don’t miss seeing the band perform at probably the Costa Tropical’s most iconic live-music venue.
