The Motril Spokesman for the Por Sí party at the Town Hall, David Martín, presented a motion before the press concerning El Camino de Las Zorreras, which he will put forward at the next Plenary Meeting of the Town Hall.

His suggestion is that this country lane be widened between the Ronda de Levante and the old Air Force Station. The lane is used by farmers for access to their land, as well as many property owners who live in that area.

At the moment, Sr. Martín explained, the lane is not wide enough for a car to get passed if there is a larger vehicle coming the other way, such as a small lorry carrying agricultural produce.

For this reason, the Town Hall should request that the landowners belonging to the SUS MOT 4 and the SUS MOT 5 cede land along the lane so that the lane can be widened from the Air Force HQ. The loss of land area could be compensated by permitting a larger building quotient.

Lastly, so that this work would not be too expense, funds should be allotted from the next PFEA (funds from the Central Government for agricultural improvements).
