The situation can best be described as chaotic concerning how many people can travel in the same car from the 4th of May.
We have the Ideal newspaper on the 4th stating the following:
In other words, just one person except under “justified exemptions…”
Yet we have the ABC on the very same day stating this:
Great! But it is hardly surprising because on the 28th of April it was as the Ideal provincial press reported but by the 3rd it was how the ABC national press put it.
So is it just the case of the press getting in a muddle? Nope! because the Ministry of Health published on the Boletín Oficial del Estado the Orden SND/386/2020, on the 3rd of May stating:
This directly contradicts the B.O.E entry (Orden TMA/384/2020) also on the same day issued by the Ministerio de Transportes, Movilidad y Agenda Urbana:
So, is it any wonder that the different newspapers can’t get it right if the different ministries are issuing different instructions?
Anyway, Folks, from the 4th (Monday) several people can now travel in the same private vehicle. To be on the safe side, wear a mask even if you have been sleeping in the same bed for the last eight weeks with the passenger sitting behind. And then on the eleventh you can forget about the mask and sit next to each other if you have been living under the same roof.
Good luck with that one!
