The Almuñécar fire personnel were left scratching their heads, trying to figure out how a car got to be where it was, and how to get it out.
The driver, a 40-year-old woman, crashed down onto somebody’s lower terrace in Torrecuevas, Almuñécar, whilst reversing. Not only was the car stuck fast, she was also trapped inside, unable to open the doors.
Neighbours, who had witnessed the surprising manoeuvre, made an emergency call, which was passed on to the fire service, Policía Local and Guardia Civil, as well as an ambulance.
The woman received bruising from the crash, but to be on the safe side, she was taken the Motril’s Santa Ana for a check-up. The only other victim was a quad bike which just happened to be parked on the “landing zone.”
