Juan Carlos Benavides makes a huge come back in Almuñécar and the PSOE maintains the mayoralty in Salobreña and will have a struggle to maintain Motril.

As for the Valle de Río Verde, the PP hangs onto Otivar while Lentegí and Jete are controlled by the PSOE.

The PSOE holds Itrabo and in Molvízar the PP and Centrados en Granada both have four seats with the PSOE three.

Finally, Vélez-Benaudalla is held by the PSOE and in Torrenueva Costa GRITO hold the absolute majority.

Further along the coast Gualchos (Castell de Ferro) and Albuñol are held by the PSOE.

As for the feared appearance of Vox, they obtained no seats in Almuñécar, two in Motril and one in Salobreña.
