The Almuñécar bus station is getting a good lick of paint, after many years, but in a different colour – white.

The local company, Christopher Martín Garciolo, landed the job, which includes the main building, garage area and marshalling-area walls.

The Councillor for Maintenance and Agriculture explained that repairs to the deteriorated facade are also included in the work.

The budget is for 15,730 euros, taxes included and should take about a month.

Editorial comment: is the interior municipal police station included?  It’s a chance to get rid of the blood stains… just saying!
