Just after midday yesterday a cyclist was side-swiped by a passing car on the Cabra road; i.e., the A-4050 or Otívar road.

The 77-year-old cyclist was taken to the medical centre in Almuñécar, so it would appear that he was not badly injured, and sustain injuries associated with falling onto the tarmac more than from the collision with the car itself.

No further information is available at the moment as to his nationality or actual injuries sustained.
