The Almuñécar fire service was called out to clear a fallen tree from the road that passes through Torrecuevas in Almuñécar.

The obstruction was caused by the high winds bringing down a tree more or less next to Venta Luciana  around six in the morning of yesterday.

They were also called out to clear fallen branches along the San Cristóbal road in Almuñécar, where Calle Guadix joins it (near the mouth of Rio Seco).

One of our readers also saw them at the very top of the Jete-Itrabo road, although as it was already dark is was impossible to see what they were up to.
