The Asociación de Amigos del Pago de Guerra is finalising the arrangements for the XVIII Romería, planned for this Sunday, the 8th.

The full name of the Romeria is Nuestra Señora de Fátima y Sagrado Corazón de Jesús and like all romerías it basically comprises of a trek, food, drink, song & dance and finishing with a church service.

This year the trek, or procession, should be less of a slog because the access lane for the Pago de Guerra has been done up recently.

Anyway, the schedule is that participants will set off at 11.00h from the Ermita de Pago de Guerra and head for the Era y Cortijo Cabrera.

Everybody should have arrived by 13.30h, which is when Sabor Andaluz will give a dance performnce, which will be followed up by grub and booze.

Then, at 19.00h, there will be the official Mass when the Virgin has safely been parked in the Ermita again.
