Juventudes Musicales has two concerts planned for this weekend; one in Motril and one in Almuñécar. The first one, on Saturday the 17th, will be at 20.00h in Motril, in the Centro Cultural de Cajagranada.

The Argentinean soprano, Mercedes Gancedo, will be performing a programme entitled, Cooking America, which is a tour of the American continent, starting at the Argentinean Pampas, working its way up through the Latin rhythms of Cuba before ending in the USA.

Then, the next day, Sunday the 18th, the Joven Orquesta Mediterránea will be giving a performance at 19.00h in the Casa de la Cultura in Almuñécar.

This concert will be the second part of the Beethoven Piano Symphony; Movements Nº3 and Nº5, (Emperor Concerto), which will be interpreted by Noelia Rodiles and Alejandro Algarra. Noelia and Alejandro received a grand applause during last week’s concerts.
