The Guardia Civil arrested a young man in Huélago (north of province) for violent robbery. The 27-year-old also has a criminal record.

The robbery took place on the 7th of December on the Belerada road within the municipality of Darro, when the accused parked his car across the road, blocking it.

When a van appeared and stopped, he dragged the driver out and beat him before stealing his wallet, while threatening to kill him, before jumping in his car and speeding off.

The Guardia Civil based in Diezma began an investigation and thanks to the victim’s description, were able to identify him and arrest him.
