The traditional Almuñécar Christmas Market will be running until the 30th of December in the Town Hall Square, so pop along and check it out.
It won’t take you long to visit all the stalls because there are only six – it’s difficult to get any more in such a restricted space but amongst them are international stands: German, Nordic and French-speaking.
So it’s a great chance to sample each stand’s traditional sweets, typical of the country, as well as a bit of spiced, hot wine! But you had better hurry because Saturday is the last day of the international stands, we believe.
The other stands are comprised of ones featuring handicraft items, such as those of Encarna Manzano, who uses aloe vera in her products. Another participant is the Four Winds Association, for example.
The market is functioning on those days from 10.00h to 14.00h and 17.00h to 21.00h.
