The Flamenco Guitar Festival began yesterday evening but will run until Saturday, having given Almuñécar residents and visitors alike three days of excellent Flamenco-Guitar performances.

Tonight, in the Casa de la Cultura at 21.00h, Miguel Ochando will perform his own compositions, as well as well known flamenco classics. But he won’t be playing alone as he will be accompanied by another guitarist and a percussionist.

The I Festival de Guitarra Flamenca, Ciudad de Almuñécar, concludes on Saturday night with a performance given by Niño Josele with his backing musicians. He has played with such top names in the Flamenco world as Diego el Cigala, Enrique Morente, Paco de Lucia, estrella Morente, Chano Dominguez and even the American jazz and fusion pianist,Chick Corea.
