Another excellent pre-season performance by the Almuñécar lads away to Adra yesterday.

CD Adra will be playing football 3 divisions above Almuñécar at the start of this coming season, so this was a good test. And it could have been even better… with Almuñécar missing a penalty.

Player coach George Jermy was pleased with the performance, “we went in at half time 1-0 up and completely dominating the game,” he said, “in the second half the lads did tire a bit, but everyone was surprised by the level of football we were playing.”

So, it’s onwards and upwards for the CD Almuñécar City boys, with the start of the season nearly upon us and several Almuñécar residents already excited about getting to see them play.
