This international diving show will be held on the 4th and 5th of March, and of course our local diving clubs will be there. This is the second year, by the way.
The Town Hall will providing a 12-sq/m stand where the diving clubs can exhibit their brochures etc and of course there will plenty of visual material on diving locations along the municipality’s coastline.
It’s also worth remembering that the National and European underwater photography and video championships were held just months ago in La Herradura, these visual highlights will be included in the info handed out up there.
The First Councillor for La Herradura, Sr. Ruiz Joya explained, “The central message is that as well as there being beautiful and rich seabeds, you can dive in these waters 365 days a year regardless of westerly or easterly currents, which sets us apart from other locations.”
The Town Hall has also received a pledge from the local diving clubs to lend their support to the general rejection of the planned mussel farm.
