Amongst the many victims in Central Italy following the earthquake today was a woman from Víznar, Granada.
The quake that registered 5.5 on the Richter Scale occurred at 04.33h today the 24th of August in the region of Rieti. One of the hardest hit towns was Amatrice with its 2,600 inhabitants.
So far – and the number will grow – there are 120 victims and 368 injured, amongst them the 25-year-old woman from Viznar, who had been on holiday in the region.
