María Victoria M.G. has been sentenced to 25 years imprisonment for the murder of Jesús M.C. on April the 25th, 2014. She also has to pay 75,000 euros in compensation to the victim’s family.
The condemned woman set light to the sofa on which the victim slept, senseless from alcohol and a drug administered to his drink. You can read a previous article for full details.
Four other people were tried, three of whom were found guilty as accomplices and sentenced to three and a half years imprisonment and a fine of 900 euros.
The fourth, Carolina F.P., was found guilty of failing to come to the aid of the victim, for which she will only have to pay a fine.
Those condemned can appeal before the regional appeals court in Sevilla.
