The Almuñécar branch of the IU party laments that Almuñécar hasn’t got around to opening a beach for dogs, along the lines of Motril’s one.
The IU first came up with such a suggestion back in October 2013: to adapt Playa de China Gorda to the use of dogs and their owners. The motion was debated in November 2013 but was rejected by the combined votes of the PP an CA.
Now with a growing number of seaside towns along the Spanish coast cottoning onto the fact that many holiday makers bring their dogs, especially if they know that there are beach facilities for them, the IU is going propose the move again.
Let’s see if it gets anywhere this time…
