The Herradura branch of Izquierda Unida has denounced the existence of a small, illegal used-tyre dump in the village, located in a barranco. The exact location was not disclosed.
Local party leader, Fermín Tejero, explained, “We hope that the Town Hall will act immediately, whilst at the same time bringing the dump to the attention of the Guardia Civil, should that be necessary.”
Sr. Tejero considers it a “grave affair” which could provoke “regret” in the future, should there be a fire.
Lastly, he considers it difficult to find out who dumped the tyres.
Editorial comment: It’s not exactly a ‘dump,’ is it? More like a pile of dumped tyres. Either way, they shouldn’t be there, although it certainly not something to ‘get your underwear entangled’ over…
