The utilities company, Endesa, has been sending out warnings to its clients via the Internet concerning bogus & malicious emails, supposedly from the company but in reality from hackers after your money.
These emails contain a link, which you should under no circumstances click on. The said bogus emails state that the receiver has an outstanding electricity bill for 577,43 euros to pay.
The unwary end up losing several hundred euros by attempting to pay the bogus bill.
So, if you are an Endesa client – most of us are – and you receive your bills over the Internet, you could well be on the receiving end of this scam.
