The Moscow Ballet RFB company will be performing in Almuñécar at the Casa de la Cultura on the 22nd and 23rd of April with a representation of Don Quixote.
It was in 1869 that the French choreographer, charged a Moscow Conservatory professor, Leon Minkus, with adapting Cervantes’ novel to a ballet performance. Since then it has been performed around the world to much applause.
In 1989 the Moscow Ballet Company was formed by Timur Fayziev and since then they have performed in dozens of international venues.
The upcoming performance of the work in Almuñécar comprises four acts and a prologue and commences on both days at 20.00h
Now, if you still haven’t managed to obtain a ticket, the Seaside Gazette has received a certain number of courtesy entrance tickets which we will pass on to our readers, with permission from the ballet company, for the performance on the 23rd. The best way to do it is via a lottery but there just isn’t time.
To receive one, you need only comment on this article, stating that you would like a ticket. To do that you need to register on our site, if you haven’t already. We will respond by email confirming that you have been allocated a ticket or not – it depends on how many are available.
The offer runs until we run out of tickets, so be quick!
