An 8-year-old boy has reportedly stabbed a 12-year old during an argument over a skateboard in a third child’s house. The alleged aggressor is a Spanish Gypsy and the victim a Moroccan.

The incident occurred around three in the afternoon of yesterday, Sunday the 13th of March in the Majorcan town of Felanitx.

It appears – and details are still sketchy – that the 8-year-old grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the Moroccan child just below the shoulder blade, puncturing a lung.

The victim was taken to the main hospital in the islands, Hospital de Son Espases, en Palma.
