The Asociación Española contra el Cáncer in Órgiva and the local Town Hall have organized a fund-raising event for Sunday the 6th.
As in previous years – there have been four – volunteers will take part in a charity walk called, Caminando Contra el Cáncer. It is hoped that around 1,000 people will take part.
The walk starts at 10.00h, leaving the Plaza Alpujarra, return around midday, when refreshment will be available.
Th route is set out along the Ruta de los Olivos Centenarios de Órgiva; some six kilometres of easy-going route; i.e., no hills, highwaymen or quicksand.
