The Guardia Civil based in Baza managed to intercept a young woman who’d driven five kilometres down the wrong side of the A-92.
The 25-year-old driver, who was breathalyzed but gave a negative reading, will have to appear before a magistrate for dangerous driving.
The police had received several calls from startled drivers, reporting that they had crossed with the blue car at eleven in the morning. The police rapidly dispatched a patrol car.
They raced ahead and waited an Exit 33 and waved her down and were surprised to find that she also had a child on board.
