The IV Meeting Art Almuñécar 2015 which was recently inaugurated and is now open to the public has participants from over a half a dozen different countries.
Participating artists are: György Csuta (Békés, Hungary), Zoltán & Klara Ludvig (Nagykanizsa, Hungry), András Györf & Zoltán Scekács (Budapest, Hungary), Katalin Bereczki & Katalina Kross (Munich, Germany), Giuseppe Strano (Italy), Mahomoud Ashkanani (Kuwait), Rani Pekha (Bengalore, India), Elena Blázquez (Madrid) Mountassir Chemao (Rabat, Morocco), Lieuwke Loth (Netherlands), Jesús Pueyo (Huesca) and local artists Toni Quirós, Javier G. Montero, Kitty Sewell, Loli Martin Manzano and Jessica Moreno.
The event is sponsored by local businesses, Carbonell, Hotel Victoria Playa, Hotel Helios and Hotel Carmen, as well as Restaurante Casa Paco, Restaurante La Última Ola, Restaurante La Parra, Restaurante La Ventura, Restaurante La Corrala, and Mesón Los Arcos.
The event contains – it will be running until the 22nd of November – workshops open to the public in the exhibition hall in the Casa de la Cultura.
Visiting hours are from 10,30h to 13.30h, Mondays to Saturdays.
