Residents of Nerja and its surrounding area will be able to enjoy the 13th edition of Lorca y Granada en los Jardines del Generalife, a unique Granada cultural event.
A Poet in New York – this year’s production headlined by the extraordinary Granada artist Rafael Amargo along with the Ballet Flamenco de Andalucia. This exciting show mixes traditional flamenco with jazz and Latin rhythms.
The show is inspired by a Canto competition held in Granada in 1922. This was competition brought together the talents of Manuel de Falla, Ignacio de Zuloaga and a young Federico Garcia Lorca.
Those who have attended the Lorca y Granada en los Jardines del Generalife know this is an cultural event not to be missed.
This year there will be a coach trip on Saturday 23 August. The trip ticket includes the Lorca y Granada event ticket and return coach transportation from Nerja.
The coach leaves the Verano Azul Parking at 18.00. Tickets are 33 euros and are available at Clinica Santa Cecilia, Calle Los Huertos, 46.
The “Lorca y Granada en los Jardines del Generalife” coach trip is part of an ongoing collaboration between the Nerja Cultural Centre and RSA 87.8fm.
