Summer has only officially started in Spain, but the end of the concert season for the Choir of Juventudes Musicales in Almuñécar is nigh.
Not a problem, though, because we’ll be back stronger than ever in September.
Just to let you know what’s in store for the coming weeks, the choir will be participating in a magical Encuentro de Corales at the Club Náutico in Torre del Mar on Saturday 4th July.
This should be a truly magical evening (albeit with a late start from 9:30pm) with the dulcet tones of five choirs, not to mention that of our very own Juventudes Musicales and a range of music which spans from Habanera, through to Baroque Spanish and even the Conversion of Saul by Z. Randall Stroope; something for everyone!
Just over a week later, further along the coast, but in the direction of Almeria this time, the Choir will be performing at the cultural festival, III Verano Cultural de Calahonda 2015.
This festival includes theatrical and musical events during these first few weeks of summer. The Choir itself will appear at 9pm on Sunday 12th July, once again with a repertoire of beautiful music and this time, combined with the mellifluous tones of the Amigos del Manjón from Granada.
For further information about either of these concerts of the Choir of Juventudes Musicales de Almuñécar, please contact our secretary Paloma on 667 296 178. We’d be delighted to see you there!
